XP and levelling

Objective lines, quests and the two-to-one rule that ties XP to cash.

Last verified 2026-10-14 · Build 12 Oct 2026

Quick answer

XP comes from completed mission objectives and quests, and pays at about half the cash total: a raid that paid $285 gave 143 XP.

XP is the slower of the two counters and the one that decides which pads you can see. Here is how it is actually earned.

Debrief screen with reward lines after a raid

Where XP comes from

  1. Completed mission lines. The debrief pays per objective: a full civilian line at +150, a full hostile line at +175, evidence at whatever the pad assigns.
  2. The mission payout itself. In the build, XP arrives at roughly half the cash. A raid paying $285 paid 143 XP.
  3. Quests. Arrest four hostiles, complete three missions, secure nine civilians — all of it pays.
  4. The one-time bonus. Joining the group and liking the experience pays $350 and 100 XP.

The 2:1 rule

Because XP tracks cash at about half the rate, every cash optimisation is also an XP optimisation. The doubled-rewards upsell that appears on the debrief screen multiplies both. That makes the maths simple: play the pad you clear best, take the doubling when the run went well, and never farm a pad you keep failing.

Penalties come off both

Officer down −40, civilian casualties on top. Those lines reduce the total the XP is calculated from, so a sloppy raid is a slower climb in two ways at once.

The XP bar itself

Each rank level shows the requirement as a fraction — 270/400 during Operator II, 618/850 at Specialist. Treat the bar as the real goal, not the rank name: the fraction tells you how close you are, and the denominator tells you how expensive the next step is.

Common questions

Does killing pay XP directly?

No. XP arrives through the objective lines and the mission payout, not per kill.

Is Double XP worth 99 Robux?

Only if you are chasing the rank ladder specifically. Double Cash at 149 compounds into everything else.

Can I lose XP?

Not as a stock. Penalties reduce the current raid's payout before the XP is calculated.
