Armour and body armour
The 100 to 150 HP upgrade, and the maths behind the officer-down penalty.
Armour raises your health pool, and the build's mid-raid prompt takes it from 100 HP to 150 HP. One officer down costs minus 40 on the debrief.
Armour is the least glamorous purchase in the locker and the one that most changes your score.

What it does
Armour raises your effective health pool, which decides whether a bad corner is a scare or an officer-down line. On the 12 October build the mid-raid upgrade prompt reads:
That is a 50 per cent increase in the damage you can absorb, and it turns the two-shot-away moments most officers die in into fights you can walk out of.
Where to buy it
In the locker under uniforms, in the armour section — the same panel that sells cosmetics. Two options worth naming from the build: the police vest and the speed plate kit. Both are cash purchases, and both beat running a raid in a shirt.
When armour matters most
| Pad | How important | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Broken Bars (prison) | High | Long wings, fire from behind, more hostiles than anywhere else |
| Forced Entry / Locked Tenants | High | Sudden close-range contact, no time to disengage |
| Smuggler's Run (port) | High | Long, exposed stretches with nothing to hide behind |
| Cash Under Fire (bank) | Medium | Wide rooms, but more civilians than shooters |
| Night Exhibit (museum) | Medium | Medium ranges, mostly single contacts |
The officer-down maths
The debrief screen deducts −40 for an officer down. One civilian rescue line is worth +150 for six people, so a single death is roughly a sixth of a full rescue line. On a pad that takes three minutes, one death is a bigger loss than any single task line you could have missed.
Combining armour with utility
Heavy armour, a Medkit pass and a shield all point the same direction: staying upright. If you are running the harder pads solo, armour plus the 65 Robux Medkit is the cheapest survivability in the game.
Common questions
Does armour slow you down?
The locker presents armour as protection rather than a weight penalty, and the current build's HUD shows a single health pool rather than a movement trade-off.
Can I upgrade armour mid-raid?
Only if you already own a better tier. The prompt appears at the start of a raid and the accept key is on screen.
Is the full-body shield armour?
No. It is an armory gadget that covers your approach, and it costs 2,100 cash.
