Cash Under Fire bank raid
The bank pad, room by room, with the route and the kit that holds it.
- Rescue all civilians
- Secure all hostiles
- Recover all stolen cash
Clear the lobby and the teller line first, work the offices, then take the vault room where the stolen cash is recovered as an interaction rather than a carry.
Cash Under Fire is the bank, and it is the pad the game teaches you on. If you only learn one mission properly, learn this one.

Layout
The bank loads as a wide lobby with a teller line, an office floor behind it, and a vault area where the stolen cash sits. The front doors open onto the street; the interior is dense with glass and doorway sightlines.
The three tasks
- Rescue all civilians
- Secure all hostiles
- Recover all stolen cash
The cash line is what makes this pad worth farming: the bags and gold sit in the vault room, and recovering them is an interaction, not a carry. Sweep the room first, then press the key.
Route that works
- Push the front door and clear the lobby from the hinge side. Civilians here usually comply fast.
- Work the teller counter — this is where most of the civilians are, and where a stray shot costs you the rescue line.
- Clear the offices behind the counter. Suspects here often have weapons and they like the corners.
- Push the vault room last. Recover the cash, mark the evidence, then re-sweep the corridor you came in through.
- Confirm the count on the tasks panel before you walk out.
Kit for this pad
| Slot | Choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Primary | Rifle (or the shotgun you start with) | Offices and the vault room are close, but the lobby is not |
| Secondary | Pistol | Backup for the doorway reload |
| Gadget | Flashbang | Two rooms always have a hostile near a civilian |
| Armour | Own one before you farm it | One officer-down line costs more than a civilian line pays |
Where people lose this pad
- Shooting early in the lobby. There are more civilians than hostiles up front.
- Leaving the cash. The vault room is easy to walk past if you clear by shape rather than by task list.
- Forgetting the offices. A single live suspect behind you turns a clean sweep into an officer-down.
Common questions
Do I have to carry the cash out?
No. Recovering it is an interaction; the bag is banked when the task line ticks.
Is the bank still the best farming pad?
It is the best learning pad. Once the tasks are automatic, the pads with more hostiles pay more per minute.
What rating should I get here?
An A or better is normal on a clean sweep. The rating falls when you take casualties or kill a civilian.
